The Air Force School Tezpur came into existence on 2nd July 1971, with a humble strength of 40 students and one part- time teacher. Today the School can boast of a good strength of students as well as highly qualified and dedicated faculty. The School has very well furnished building and modern infrastructure. It has a separate Pre-Primary Wing with ergonomic furniture for kids and specialised teaching aids which are used for conducting the playway method of teaching.
