The Air Force School Tezpur came into existence on 2nd July 1971, with a humble strength of 40 students and one part- time teacher. Today the school can boast of a good strength and well qualified and dedicated faculty with a very well furnished building and infrastructure. We have a separate Pre Primary Wing with well furnished equipment, which is useful for play way method of teaching.

As the Principal of Air Force School, Tezpur, I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of an institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn, discover and re-discover. The aim of our School is to provide best-in-class education celebrating the fact that each child is different, as a person and as a learner. We believe that powerful learning and teaching occurs under a shared spirit of respect which creates a passionate schooling experience recognised for its warmth, energy and excellence.We emanate and sprinkle an atmosphere where each child receives love, dignity and acceptance. We thoroughly blend the modern and traditional approach which is conducive for learners. Children in our School learn through exploration and experimentation. With prime focus on academics wrapped in a plethora of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, the students attain required knowledge, optimum exposure and desirable confidence.
The highly qualified and extremely competent team of Air Force School Tezpur is motivated to monitor and mentor all the children and lead them through their learning challenges with the virtues of ‘love’ and ‘logic’.
